“What’s your strategy for all these central bank meetings next week”

I don’t have one.  I don’t give a shit.

“Yeah but the Fed probably does something, right?  Or maybe they don’t but they leave the door open for the September meeting once they get a look at the jobs number for July, and then there’s Draghi, he just said the ECB is ready to ‘do whatever it takes’ and also the Bank of England is Thursday too, right?  And hasn’t the Chinese central bank been popping up and making surprise moves of Bank of England days the last few times?  The whole thing is about getting the Fed right, I think.  Placing my bets that they do something now because otherwise it’s too close to the election and the Fed doesn’t want to risk being seen as political….”

Shut up already.  Do you hear yourself?  Repeating all these idiotic words and phrases and guesses you hear on TV.  I feel bad for the people whose money you manage.  Do they know that this is the inner monologue running through your head all day?  You sound like a fucking lunatic.  Calm down.

“Yeah but blah blah blah blah blah blah…”

Dude, you don’t know anything.  Stop placing bets with other peoples money on the outcome of European political squabbles and what the Fed may or may not do this month.  Go splash some cold water on your face, turn off the TV and read a book.
