Meet Foster the People.
The is the band that will steamroll over America this summer with their song Pumped Up Kicks, possibly the anthem of Summer 2011. It will become firmly lodged in your head for the rest of the weekend.
Foster the People met through friends in the LA music scene and put out the album Torches, which you can buy for abut 8 bucks right now on Amazon:
I've been through it twice, it's cool. Now the only thing I'm afraid of is the Machine turning these guys into dorky teen idols. Anyway, so far its just modern rock radio picking them up so enjoy while you can!
