Media: Opportunity in Japan?

I had a quick hit on CNBC today to discuss whether or not there were opportunities in Japanese stocks right now. I made a somewhat nuanced argument that Japan is undoubtedly cheap but that now was not necessarily the time to go "wild and crazy" there.
One contrarian play I mentioned for those looking to be a bit bold here was an ETF that owns roughly 380 Japanese small caps, all of which pay dividends.
