Naming the Research In Motion Tablet Device
- Joshua M Brown
- June 26th, 2010
Research In Motion ($RIMM) is being coy about the tablet.
The chief exec has been keeping the company's plans for the future pretty close to the vest. Either that or he has no such exciting plans, as has been posited by several bloggers. Regardless, the conventional wisdom is that RIM is hard at work developing some type of tablet computing device to fight off the Apple ($AAPL) juggernaut's iPad.
I offer some suggestions for the RIM Tablet's name below, hit me with any suggestions of your own in the comments section:
1. FlatBerry
2. The Canadian iPad
3. LateBerry
4. The Tablet That's Not The Apple One
5. The $500 Corporate Email Plank
6. Le Tablet Du Ontario
7. The Aren't-You-Glad-It-Doesn't-Run-Windows?
8. Palm Treo
9. The LapWarmer 3000
10. The Your-Mother-Doesn't-Love-You Machine
Full disclosure: I use a Blackberry Tour, which I like a lot, only it's not an iPhone. But I live in Manhattan and loath dropped calls, so I'm not giving up Verizon for AT&T, iPhone or not.
