Record Breaking Price For Rough Diamond…I’ll Give You One Guess Who Paid It

A rough 507-carat diamond the size of a chicken's egg was just sold for $35 million. This is the 19th largest diamond ever found and the price is a new record for an unfinished gem.
It was found in a mine owned by Petra Diamonds, and in my imagination, its excavation cost several exploited locals a limb or two. I know, sad but maybe true.
Anyway, below is a picture of the rock. Try to hazard a guess as to the nationality of the buyer, it shouldn't be too hard to do...
Did you guess China? You did? Props.
According to USA Today, the buyer was a Hong Kong-based private jewelry retailer called Chow Tai Food Jewelry. Of course it was.
