But the farce that is &quot;Main Street = Wall Street&quot; is that half of Americans are in the stock market.  yes, and about 33% of that 50% has $4000 in a random IRA or 401k account at work, and not going to move their meter one way or the other

The big trick is to reinflate housing

Moving a $6400 Etrade account up 50% pales in comparison to moving a levered $190K house up 30%

		<description>an interesting concept, but most likely too much of a stretch.  you gotta figure that most small biz owners dont make many decisions based on how their brokerage statements read althiough a bounce in their portfolios may make some of them bolder or exuberant enough to get back to growth plans.
